Back to our Employee Highlights, and today’s spotlight is on someone with serious soul! Stuart Marshall!
Stuart is originally from Lynchburg, Virginia, and moved to the beach just 16 days before the pandemic hit. Despite the wild timing, he stuck around and has become a beloved part of our team and the OBX community.
He’s a lifelong server and bartender, but Stuart is also a creative powerhouse. He’s the lead singer and frontman of the local band SOULone, and when he’s not behind the bar or the mic, he runs a commission-based art business called Marshall Arts.
He’s traveled the world playing blues music with his father and one of their most unforgettable gigs was at an arts festival in Greece.
At 34, Stuart brings kindness, depth, and a lot of rhythm to everything he does. We’re lucky to work alongside someone with such a rich story and generous spirit!

Bailey, you’ve been more than a team member… you’ve been family. From sun-up to last call, you brought joy, heart, and just the right amount of sass to NC Coast.
We’re beyond grateful for every moment, and while we’re sending you off with hugs and happy tears, remember — this will always be your home. Once NC Coast, always NC Coast.
