A Coastal Southern Duck, NC, Restaurant with Global Influences
“This is the fun cuisine I’ve always wanted to cook that didn’t fit in at Red Sky Cafe,” says Wes Stepp, owner of Red Sky and NC Coast Grill & Bar, about his new Duck, NC, restaurant. “Whereas Red Sky is more traditional Southern Nouveau, at NC Coast we are offering more cutting-edge cuisine.”
Well-known for his abilities to elevate the simplest and healthiest of ingredients with impressive flavor and artful presentation, Chef Stepp has been cooking with Outer Banks seafood and regional ingredients for more than three decades. At his newest Duck, NC, restaurant he celebrates the flavors of coastal North Carolina and the South while bringing in cross-cultural influences and global flair. The menus offer something for everyone, from fresh, local seafood to regionally farmed meats and local produce to plant-based proteins and vegan specialties.
Expect tasty surprises and flavorful twists on the menu and on the daily chalkboard specials from the chef and his team. The menu includes Outer Banks classic favorites but tweaked slightly and kicked up a notch with the Asian, Southwestern and other international flavors. Think cutting-edge food in a casual setting, and you’ll get an idea of what our Outer Banks restaurant has to offer.
