For people who like getting about and exploring by foot, there are few better places to do so than in Southern Shores and Duck, NC. A pedestrian path runs along N.C. Highway 12’s stretch from Southern Shores Crossing through the north end of Duck. It offers a safe way to walk, run or bike through the wax myrtle-canopied corridor between these towns.
