Sandboarding
Looking for a one-of-a-kind Outer Banks adventure? Try sandboarding at Jockey’s Ridge State Park, home to the tallest natural sand dunes on the East Coast! Kitty Hawk Kites offers sandboard rentals all year long, so you can shred (or sled!) the dunes whenever the sand is dry, and the sun is shining. Rentals include a sandboard (without bindings), wax, and a quick demonstration from our friendly crew on how to ride and wax your board.

SUP Rentals
Learn to stand up paddleboard. Lessons begin with the anatomy of a SUP and its terminology. Next, paddling techniques, balance and feet positioning are discussed. Participants then practice popping up onto the SUP on the beach before getting wet.
