These kiddos made our day today! Chef Wes and the @edible_photography_obx team visited Northside Elementary School in #elizabethcitync to host a fun “How to Make a Chef’s Board” class with the school's Cooking Club!
Chef Wes brought cookies, kindly donated by our local Crumble @seasidecrumbl and the school provided the rest for the boards! Everyone was really into it! Chef Wes was a hit!

We’ve got an update on the ferry situation- “Good news! While NC12 on Ocracoke remains CLOSED, The North Carolina Ferry Division will be running the Ocracoke Express passenger ferry TODAY to help people get to Blackbeard’s Pirate Jamboree! Departures are from Hatteras at 8:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 1:45 p.m. and 5 p.m., with departures from Ocracoke-Silver Lake at 9:45 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Fares are $15 round trip.

Weekend service will be determined after we know more about the status of NC12.”
