Fishing picked up some yesterday with the switch in the wind. The piers had blues, Spanish, mullet, spot, croakers and a few sheepshead. The little bridge had some nice trout, croakers, blues, spot and pinfish. Bonner bridge had some sheepshead and over slot drum. In and around the inlet is stacked with red drum! Hatteras had a mixed bag of Spanish, blues sea mullet, croakers, pompano, and sharks. It’s looking like a good weekend and we are stocked up on fresh mullet, shrimp, and squid so stop in and see us before you hit the water!

This Cape Hatteras home is perched directly on one of the best beaches for surfing, fishing, and swimming on Hatteras Island, with the famed Cape Hatteras Lighthouse less than a mile away. You can even see the lighthouse from the top floor, and watch the light sweep across the ocean at night as you listen to the waves crash from your comfortable living room or bedroom. The views here are spectacular. If you bring your binoculars, you can see the wild waves of The Point. You can also catch regular glimpses of dolphins swimming just offshore and seabirds diving for fish.

Wow summer is flying by! Can’t believe that next week is gonna be August! We just want to give a big thank your to all our summer help! We couldn’t get through the summer with out the help of our high school and college kids and we are so grateful for all the hard work they gave us this season! On that note, with the departure of this staff closely approaching we will be looking to fill some positions to get us through the rest of the season!
