"What do tour guides do on their days off?" she asked, "they go look for horses and sunsets!" and, boy did she find them.

Our tour guide extraordinaire, Cheryl "Shorty" Short, happened upon this harem on Sunday around twilight. "The horses were really struggling with the biting flies," she added, which is often why they head to the surf's relief of saltwater and breezes. She shares this incredible footage, though it can be frustrating to watch as they do their best to deal with the unyielding flies.

But "Shorty"'s happy to report that the winds shifted east the following morning, and the harems returned to languishing in the beautiful, beachy evenings of Corolla.
