Ocracoke Alive

The Ocracoke Community Multicultural Celebration, celebrates the rich cultural diversity of Ocracoke Island. This one-day celebration takes place at the Ocracoke school and is open to the public. The event aims to bring together students, families, residents, and visitors to honor and celebrate cultural heritage through music, dance, food, and interactive activities. There is a focus on the shared histories and traditions of the many cultures that have influenced Ocracoke, highlighting both the diversity within the community and the universal experiences that bind us together.
