First Friday -- Sunny, warm and beautiful at the oceanfront. No catches yet. Last night, Blaine caught this 44 - inch RED DRUM. There's a moderate SW breeze of 11 knots. The ocean water temp is 52 degrees, air temp 71. Low tides 7:33 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. High tide 1:13 p.m.

We had the best surprise today! Looks like we get to welcome another wee darling to our sandy slice of paradise.

This unexpected and beautiful moment was submitted by the Murphy family, who were out with our tour guide extraordinaire, Shorty!

As always, we will offer momma and baby a wide berth to give them bonding time, as well as the rest of the harem, and "dad", who will be vigilant in his protection.
