Next up in our year-round crew series is Chef James, a four-season legend in the NC Coast kitchen!
Born in Elizabeth City and living on Colington Island, James is as local as it gets with a serious love for flavor and a steady presence that keeps the line running like a well-oiled machine.
His go-to dish? The Tomahawk Pork Chop!
You’ve probably seen him working the line behind the kitchen window, focused, fast, and always getting it done! Yep, that's James!

Employee Spotlight: Chef Nick! 👨‍🍳
We know it’s been a busy stretch but we’re still going strong with our Employee Spotlight Series, and next up is someone who’s been holding it down in the kitchen for years: Chef Nick!
Originally from Virginia Beach, Nick brings 30 years of cooking experience to the NC Coast kitchen, and we’ve been lucky to have him on the team for the past four years.
He’s all about that beach life, loves live music, and yes, he’s even into skydiving 🪂 (we’ll stay on the ground, thanks).
Celeste, our marketing manager, said: "Nick always says hello when I walk in, and the first thing he will ask is if I would like something to eat. You can tell he loves cooking for others"
