Pirates Cove Billfish Tournament is always the kick off to the Fall catering season & a time where we get to catch up with a lot of great friends we have made over the years catering the tournament! Pro surfer Ella McCaffray of Encinitas, Calif. says she's ready to roll in this week's WRV OBX Pro surf contest, which gets underway here at Pier later this week. McCaffray, who surfs for Surf Ride boards, has come in second place in three recent contests so she's hungry for a first!

After a glorious sunset boat ride last night with staff, we continue to show our appreciation for all that they do with Bonus Monday! 100% of today's sales both in the restaurant (opens 4pm tonight) and market will be split up and given to staff as bonuses. Come on out and show some love!!

Labor Day Weekend is coming up! The Dunes will be open on Sunday 9/4 for breakfast (as usual) and for dinner, Sunday night. On Labor Day, Monday 9/5, The Dunes will be open for Breakfast from 7 a.m. to noon. We will be closed for dinner on Tuesday, September 6th. Re-opening on regular schedule on Wednesday 9/7 at 7 a.m.
