Blitzin' Blues -- Anglers made the most of a bluefish ‘blitz’ Monday afternoon. Michael Nesbitt of Raleigh (pictured) was kept busy catching one after another and this one was pushing 20-inches. Nearly every fisherman jigging for the blues were using Got – Cha plugs, a tried-and-true lure for pier fishing.

So far, BLUEFISH are coming over the rail. There's a moderate breeze of 13 knots coming from the SE. Air temp is 68 degrees, ocean water temp is 54 degrees. Low tides 8:23 a.m. and 8:33 p.m. High tide 2:14 p.m.
