"Egrets are important for several reasons: they act as indicators of wetland health, play a role in controling populations of other animals..." Their presence or absence can indicate the overall health of an ecosystem.

She’s got OBX vibes, ocean soul, and a knack for making your dining experience smooth as sea glass. Originally from Lynchburg, VA, Olivia’s called the Outer Banks home for the past 5 years—and we’re lucky to have her back at NC Coast for a second season!
When she’s not at the restaurant, you’ll catch her flowing through yoga poses, catching sunrise surf, or living her best beach life!!

I know everyone is excited to get to the fireworks and other festivities this evening, so we're going to open up an hour early, 4:00 p.m.
