Offshore charters typically leave the dock an hour before sunrise. In the Outer Banks, offshore gamefish can be found anywhere from 20 to 60 miles from the inlet, so roaming and fishing times will vary from day to day. All you need to bring is food and drink, appropriate clothing, and a tip for the mate (20% is standard).
(6 to 9 a.m.) Rise and shine! Get the crew out the door early and meet us at Shallowbag Marina. Bring your coffee and biscuits and enjoy your breakfast in the first light of day on the water. By the time most people are getting up, you will have already caught your dinner and still have the whole day ahead of you.
